Natura Bisse, please do read.. « Thread Started on Jan 29, 2006, 5:31am »
I've had problems with acne ever since I was 13. I can't stand it! The added stress of that causes me more break outs I believe..such a vicious cycle...
Anyway, I've used Clearasil till I was about 18..and yeah it "helped" in a way, but all it really did was inflame my skin and made way for NEW breakouts! I have a very fair complexion and my face was always very red from using it. I used the face wash in the morning, and the face wash and acne cream at night. Then after my acne was getting worse and worse I started using Accutane..BIG mistake for me. I'm sure it works for some people, but for me it just made things worse. It affected my mood insanely and it always over dried my skin so bad that I was just flaking like crazy, so dry I would bleed at times. So then I just went back to Clearasil for a while longer until..
I started using Natura Bisse. My girlfriend treated me because she knew how bad my acne effected me. She took classes a while ago about the BEST ways to treat acne, she did A LOT of research and found Natura Bisse to be very promising using all natural ingredients, and the "right" ingredients for that matter. She bought me the AHA daily face wash, the anti-bacterial toner(astringent), Gel cream for acne prone skin (moisturizer, I NEVER knew this but a good moisturizer is an absolute MUST, I always thought they would cause more breakouts), and the Special FX acne spot treatment. I used these products faithfully and in like 1 month my skin was AWESOME! No more redness, A LOT of my acne cleared up, my skin felt solf, smooth..and for ONCE was moisturized! I must say that Natura Bisse is really expensive, but I think is very worth it. Maybe there is something better out there or similar that is much much cheaper, I don't know of it but if so someone please reply and let me know.
Also I would love to hear some replies on this, if anyone else has used Natura Bisse and had good or even bad results.

I use to use Natura Bisse products (very expensive) and my skin seemed to be ok with it but I don't use them anymore and they're sitting on my dresser as I now use organic paraben free products, by choice and preference. I didn't use Natura Bissee for my acne - mainly the glycolic peels (which I've run out of and would use again), the anti aging skin creams etc which again were very expensive.
I can't really help you with your questions on Natura Bissee ... just wanted to acknowledge your post.

Hi JM,
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate that very much. I actually posted another thread about Natura Bisse in the 'holistic diet' area. I know there has got to be other great acne products that work that are less expensive, its too bad I had to try something expensive and it WORKED for me, because I can no longer afford NB with my budget..
The organic paraben free products you mentioned, any particular brand you use? Is it less expensive than NB? If so I would love to give it a try.

Hi CJ
Yes Natura Bisse is extremely expensive and perhaps a luxury only for the rich!!
I use Miessence mainly which is organic and paraben free. If you're in the UK you can get it from http://www.theremustbeabetterway.co.uk. I use their shampoos, body moisturisers, eye and facial creams, foundation, mineral make up, mascara, eye liner, - pretty much everything!! My skin loves it and is purring!!
I also used Burts Bees for a while though they are not organic.
My skin is acne free, apart from the odd pre menstrual spot before my period and my skin condition is so much better than it was before. I like that I am using natural products on my skin that are organic and healthy with nothing synthethic in them or that could affect my health in any way shape or form. I'm even sensitive to hair spray that has parabens in them .... and start coughing. Miessence also do hair sprays and hair gels.
Getting rid of stress is also a key factor as when I'm stress my hormones flare up so I try to meditate as much as I can and workout ... it's a work in progress; and also diet plays an important part. Treat your body lovingly, mind, body and soul and it'll respond accordingly.
Best JM
p/s yes I did see your other post but I didn't get a chance to reply ....
